8 Days NSS Special Summer Camp, 2023 Concludes At GDC Purmandal

The final Day started with the campus beautification drive in which NSS Volunteers took number of activities to beautify the college campus. It was followed by meditation to relax mind and body. After the completion of these activities, a valedictory function was organized . Ms. Sapna Sapolia, Sarpanch, Katwalta was the Chief Guest. Mr. Des Raj, Panch, Karnal and Mr. Ram Saroop Sharma, Social Activist were Guest of Honor of the event. The function started with welcome address by Prof. Mohammad Rafi [NSS PO]. While speaking on the occasion worthy Principal of the college Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar said that NSS is the second name of community service that keeps the society united by creating awareness on various social issues. She reiterated the NSS motto “Not Me But You” that always contributes in nation building. NSS PO presented a detailed report about the activities that have been conducted during these eight days. Chief Guest in her address praised the NSS volunteers for providing their services at the village level. She said that same spirit is the need of the hour in order to reach the poorest of the poor. She also congratulated the NSS Unit of the college for successfully conducting the Special Summer Camp. Bonanza of Cultural items was also presented by NSS Volunteers to mark the concluding ceremony which included singing of NSS song ‘UTHE SAMAAJ KE LIYE’. The camp was organized by Prof. Mohammad Rafi [ NSS PO] with the active support of NSS Advisory committee members which included Prof. Shahima Akhter [convener], Prof. Lakshmi Sohan [member] and Dr. Deepika Mehra [member].
