8 Day NSS Special Camp 2023 At GDC Purmandal

NSS Unit of GDC Purmandal inaugurated 08 days special summer camp under the aegis of celebration of India’s G20 Presidency on 09-05-2023. The main motive of the camp is to inculcate the feelings of community services to create enlightened society. The camp was inaugurated by Principal of the college Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar. In her address she called upon the NSS volunteers to contribute constructively to realize the dream of NEW INDIA. First two days of the camp will be dedicated for conducting “Survey of Youth not in Formal Education or Regular Employment”. During these two days volunteers shall gather information on Youth not in formal education or regular employment in the age group of 15-29 years. This information will be helpful in framing National Youth Policy 2024 by GOI. The inaugural Programme was organized under the patronage of Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar. The programme was successfully coordinated by Prof. Mohammad Rafi [NSS PO] with the active support of other members of NSS team which included Prof. Shahima Akhter [convener NSS Committee], Prof. Lakshmi Sohan [member] and Dr. Deepika Mehra [member].
