Blood Group Testing Camp

GDC Purmandal organizes 'Blood Group Testing Camp' NSS Unit and Red-Ribbon Club of the college in collaboration with Health and Wellness Centre, Katwalta of Block Purmandal organized a one day Blood Group Testing Camp for the students and staff of the college. The camp was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Raj Kumar, BMO Purmandal. Blood Group Testing was done by Mr. Naveen Sharma Lab Technician in coordination with Mr. Jasbir Rana, Pharmacist. The NSS Volunteers assisted the technicians by registering students and staff members for Blood Group Testing. A total of 117 Blood Grouping Tests were done. The Principal of the college Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar appreciated the efforts of the NSS Unit and RRC for organizing the camp with such a noble cause which will create awareness among the local populace and would also help to promote Blood Donation Programmes. The whole programme was conducted by Prof. Shahima Akhter, Nodal Officer, Red- Ribbon Club and Prof. Mohammad Rafi, NSS PO with the active support of other faculty members.
