Parents Meet On Nasha Mukt Bharat

GDC Purmandal organizes Parents Meet on Nasha Mukt Bharat NSS Unit in collaboration with Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Committee and Red-Ribbon Club organized P.T.M cum awareness programme on the theme Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan in which Poetry recitation, singing and skit titled "NASHA MUKT SADDA PURMANDAL" were presented by the students of the college. The motive of the whole programme was to raise awareness about the ill effects of Drugs on young generation and how to completely eradicate this menace from the society. Mr. Avtar Singh, DDC Member Purmandal and Ms. Sapna Sapolia, Sarpanch Katwalta, Mandal were chief guest and guest of honor respectively. Other respected members of the locality along with parents of the students were also remained present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion worthy Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Raj Shree Dhar welcomed all the dignitaries and talked extensively on the role of the parents in mentoring and supervision of the raw minds. She further mentioned that joint efforts, mutual understanding and cooperation of parents and teachers is need of the hour for holistic growth of the students. Chief Guest Mr. Avtar Singh praised the college authorities for taking such an important initiatives against Drug Abuse and said we must work collaborately to defeat this enemy which is robbing from us ourself. Guest of Honor Ms. Sapna Sapolia also shared her views on the occasion. The proceeding of the day were conducted by Prof. Shahima Akhter (Nodal Officer, RRC). While formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Dr. Deepika Mehra (Convener Dramatic Club 'Purmandli'). The whole programme was organized under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Raj Shree Dhar. The coordinators of programme included Prof. Lakshmi Sohan (Nodal Officer Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan) and Prof. Mohammad Rafi (NSS PO).
