GDC Purmandal Celebrates Constitution Day NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College, Purmandal celebrated Constitution Day to honour the adoption of the Indian Constitution- beginning of new era in the history of India. Prof. [Dr.] C.K. Khajuria, Principal of the college was the chief guest on the occasion. He addressed the volunteers and the students of the college about the significance and the history of Samvidhan Diwas. He appealed the volunteers and the students to make efforts to fulfil duties as a responsible citizen and cherish your Constitutional rights. He asserted that the guiding principles of the constitution will lead towards progress, justice and harmony among the natives of the nation. Many volunteers shared their views on the importance of “CONSTITUTION AND NATIONAL UNITY”. The volunteers, students and teachers of the college took pledge to maintain sanctity of rights and duties towards the nation. Prof. Bisat Tairq, Prof. Reeha Sharma, Prof. Ranjeet Kumar and Prof. Nazia Bibi were present on the occasion. The whole programme was organized under the supervision of NSS Programme Officer, Prof. [Dr.] Sunita Devi.
