NCORD Committee in collaboration with Red-Ribbon Club & NSS Unit of GDC Purmandal organizes Anti-drug Rally on the theme “Say No To Drugs and Yes To Life”. The rally started with Pledge taking ceremony in which students swore by against the use of drugs. The Principal of the college Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar flagged off the Anti Drugs awareness rally. The students raised the slogans ‘ Hum Sab Ka Ek Hi Nara, Nasha Mukt Purmandal Humara’ and ‘Sachit Rahein Sachet Rahein’. Also NSS students enthusiastically gave counselling to the local people of the village Mandal. The students urged the people not to indulge in drugs as its effects are harmful for the society and disturbing for families. This results in crime, frustration, distress in victims life. The Sarpanch of the village Ms. Sapna Sapolia, Panchayat Secretary and other locals also joined the rally and awared various issues pertaining to the drug menace and HIV/AIDS disease. The whole programme was coordinated by Prof. Lakshmi Sohan [Convener of NCORD] under the guidance of Worthy Principal Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar. The organizing team included Prof. Shahima Akhter [Nodal RRC], Prof. Mohammad Rafi [NSS PO] & Dr. Deepika Mehra [Convener Cultural Committee].
