Govt. Degree College Purmandal Organizes Multi-Lingual Essay Writing Competition

NSS Unit of GDC Purmandal organized intra-college Multi-Lingual Essay writing competition on the theme “ Meri Mati Mera Desh” under the ambit of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav. The competition witnessed an overwhelming response from about 25 students of the college, who showcased their creativity and put forth their ideas about ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’. Babeeta Devi of B.A sem 3rd, Mohinder Kumar of sem-5th & Jatoon Bibi of Sem-5th emerged as the top winners, securing the First, Second & Third positions respectively. The competition was judged by Prof. Lakshmi Sohan [NCORD convener] and Prof. Deepika Mehra [convener Cultural Committee]. The whole programme was conducted under the patronage of worthy Principal of the college Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar. She appreciated the efforts of the students and emphasized the importance of patriotism and the responsibility that comes with being citizens of an Independent India. The whole programme was coordinated by Prof. Mohammad Rafi [NSS PO] & Prof. Shahima Akhter [convener, NSS].
