GDC Purmandal organizes One Day Workshop on Dogri Culture and Career in theatre. NSS Unit in collaboration with Career Counseling Cell of the college organized One Day Workshop to aware students about Dogri Culture and also various Career Opportunities in theatre. The resource persons on the occasion were invited from Samooh Theatre Jammu. Worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Raj Shree Dhar formally welcomed the resource persons. Speaking on the occasion, she encouraged the students to contribute towards the preservation of ‘Local Culture & Tradition’. A documentary depicting cultural heritage of Jammu with special focus on rituals, songs, dances, folk, literature etc. was screened to the students of the college. The whole programme was coordinated by Prof. Shahima Akhter (Convener Career Counseling Cell and NSS) and Prof. Mohammad Rafi (NSS PO).
