GDC Purmandal Organizes Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme With JKEDI Samba

Career Counselling Cell of GDC Purmandal in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Samba under the patronage of Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar , Principal of the college organized one day awareness programme on the theme “Entrepreneurship and Startup”. The aim of this program was to sensitize the students about the concepts of entrepreneurship and various startup schemes/financial support/guidance provided by the JKEDI to the Entrepreneurs of the UT. Mr. Vishal Ray [I/C Start Up and incubation Centre and Divisional Officer Jammu] and Vir partap Singh Slathia [District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Samba] were the resource persons of the event. They illuminated the audience with their knowledge and experiences in the field of entrepreneurship. Their engaging presentations left a lasting impacts on the students. The welcome address and vote of thanks was given by Prof. Shahima Akther [Convener Career Counselling Cell]. The other faculty members present in the programme included Prof. Lakshmi Sohan, Prof. Mohammad Rafi & Dr. Deepika Mehra.
