GDC Purmandal Organizes ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Rally

NSS Unit of the college organized “Har Ghar Tiranga” Rally on 10th of August, 2024 under the aegis of AKAM and “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign of GOI. The rally was flagged off by the Principal of the College Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar. The objective of the rally is to create awareness among local populace regarding Flag Code of India. Speaking on the occasion Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar said these celebrations must remind us all the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and hoisting of National Flag reflects & Upholds our National values of Oneness, Harmony & Universal brotherhood. About 70 NSS Volunteers along with all the staff members have come together enthusiastically to be part of this campaign. They resolved to work together to keep our National Flag Flying high. The programme was coordinated by Prof. Mohammad Rafi [ NSS PO] and Prof. Shahima Akhter [ Convener NSS Advisory Committee]. Co-coordinators included Prof. Lakshmi Sohan and Dr. Deepika Mehra.
