GDC Purmandal Organized Cleanliness Drive And Awareness Programme On ‘Swachh Diwali Shubh Diwali’

Eco-club and NSS Unit of the college organized Cleanliness drive of college campus and awareness programme on Swachh Diwali Shubh Diwali’. The whole programme was conducted under the patronage of worthy Principal of the college Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar. In her address, she urged the students to follow the path of environmental protection, Say no to single use plastic, save water and plant more trees. Prof. Shahima Akhter [convener Eco-Club & NSS] made the students aware of the harmful effects of pollution produced by the crackers on Diwali. In her lecture she emphasizes the importance of Clean and Eco-friendly celebrations. All the faculty members and students of the college participated in both the programmes.
