GDC Purmandal Celebrates National Voters Day 2023

GDC Purmandal organized a pledge taking ceremony to celebrate National Voters Day on 25th of Jan, 2023. The College also organized cultural events to celebrate 74th Republic Day which is on 26th of January, 2023, to commemorate the sacrifices of freedom fighters and this day is remembered because of the sacrifices laid by great political leaders in the making of the constitution. The programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp accompanied by Saraswati Vandana. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Sarpanch, Katwalta Mrs. Sapna Sapolia. Worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Raj Shree Dhar formally welcome all the guest. Prof. Deepika Mehra (HOD Dogri) proceeded the programme. On this occasion, the students of the college performed cultural bonanza which includes Dogri dance, Punjabi dance, Patriotic song and Poetry. Students who won various prizes in different competitions were also awarded with medals. Lastly, National Anthem was also played and even sung by all the audience with patriotic fervour. The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Shahima Akhter (HOD EVS).
