Eleven Students From GDC Purmandal Qualified For UT Level Youth Fest Red Run Marathon

Students of GDC Purmandal participated in the district level marathon organized by GDC Samba in collaboration with J&K AIDS control Society, Department of Health & Medical Education on 1st of August, 2023. A total of 100 participants with 20 students each from five Govt. Degree Colleges of District Samba ran a 2 Km marathon starting from GDC Samba and concluding at Shah Balour, Mansar Road. From all the 100 participants, 25 to be selected for UT level marathon and its a moment of pride that out of 20 students that have participated from GDC Purmandal, Eleven Students were selected for UT level. Worthy Principal of the college Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar congratulated all the participants and encouraged the winners to perform with full zeal and enthusiasm at the UT level. Nodal officer Prof. Shahima Akhter [Red Ribbon Club] & Dr. Deepika Mehra accompanied the students for the same.
