Celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, 2022 to pay homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, GDC Purmandal organized series of activities viz. Pledge Taking Ceremony, Run for Unity and Cleanliness Drive on the occasion of National Unity Day, 2022. The day was introduced by honorable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi in 2014 with the theme of ‘Run For Unity’. Observing this day provides strength and resilience for the nation to hold on to Unity, Integrity and Security of India.
The pledge was administered to the students and staff of the college by Worthy Principal of the college ‘Prof. Seema Mir’ in English and Prof. Shahima Akhter (HOD Environmental Sciences) in Hindi. The Run For Unity was again flagged off by Principal of the college and a Cleanliness Drive was also organized in the Local vicinity to spread the message of Clean and Green India. The whole programme was co-coordinated by the NSS unit of the college under the supervision of Prof. Mohammad Rafi (NSS PO)
