GDC Purmandal organizes Career Counseling Programme for Students Career Counseling Cell and NSS Unit of GDC Purmandal organized a Career Counseling program for the students of the college. Ms. Rajni Sahni (Manager J&K Bank, Khara Maidana) and Shivani Choudhary (Banking Associate, J&K Bank, Khara Maidana) were the resource persons of the event. Prof. Shahima Akhter (Convener Career Counseling cell) presented the welcome address. The resource persons spoke about various roles and career opportunities available for the students in banking sector. They also briefed the students about various schemes that can be availed by anyone like Tejasavani, Mumkin Scheme, PMEGP etc. The programme was organized under the guidance of Worthy Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Raj Shree Dhar. While speaking on the occasion she said that right career guidance provides right direction. It also helps in proper preparation for a job and avoiding confusion among myriads of Job options. The interactive programme was followed by a Question and Answer session with the resource persons. The programme was coordinated by Prof. Shahima Akhter (Convener Career Counseling cell) and others who were present on the occasion included Prof. Lakshmi sohan (HOD English) and Prof. Deepika Mehra (HOD Dogri).
