GDC Purmandal organizes 03 day Awareness Workshop on India’s Presidency of G20. NSS Unit of GDC Purmandal inaugurated 03 day Awareness Workshop under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav on 4th of February, 2023. The objectives of the workshop is to spread awareness among masses in general and youth in particular about the rising stature of India as knowledge Hub of the Globe. The workshop was inaugurated by Worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Raj Shree Dhar. While speaking on the occasion she apprised the students about the role and responsibility of India as the host of this year’s G20 Summit. She said this year’s theme of G20 “One Earth, One Family, One Future” will set the tone for 2023 Infrastructural Agenda under the Indian G20 Presidency. On the first day of the workshop a Poster making competition was held in which 21 students participated. Diya Sharma of B.A semester 5th stood first while Rimpi Devi and Neha Devi of B.A. Semester 1st won second and third prizes respectively. The competition was adjudicated by Prof. Lakshmi Sohan (HOD English), Prof. Shahima Akhter (HOD EVS) & Prof. Deepika Mehra (HOD Dogri). The whole event was conducted under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Raj Shree Dhar & successfully coordinated by Prof. Mohammad Rafi (NSS PO).
